Huron Alloys sits in the middle of Sarnia's Chemical Valley — minutes from the refineries, upgraders and midstream terminals we've supplied since 1983. When a turnaround clock is running, we stage material to match your outage schedule: 316/316L and 321/321H process piping, Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507 for sour and produced-water service, Incoloy 825 for amine units, and P11/P22 chrome moly for hot-section lines — with B16.5 flanges, butt-weld fittings and pressure fittings to match.
We work inside AML programs every week: if your project specifies approved mills, we source and document to the list, and every line item ships with its heat-numbered MTR. Planned shutdown or 2 a.m. line failure, our emergency supply number is monitored around the clock (fees apply).

Chemical Processing
Chlorides, hot acids, caustic, wet chlorine — chemical plants destroy ordinary stainless, which is why our nickel-alloy rack runs deep. Hastelloy C276 pipe, fittings and plate for mixed-acid and wet-chlorine streams; Monel 400 for hydrofluoric acid and caustic soda circuits; Alloy 625 and Inconel 600 where temperature climbs; Incoloy 825 for sulphuric service. On the stainless side, 317L buys extra molybdenum for pitting resistance, and Duplex 2205 shuts down chloride stress-corrosion cracking in hot brine.
We stock the forms maintenance crews actually burn through: schedule pipe, butt-weld and pressure fittings, B16.5 flanges, plate for vessel patches and bar for machined internals. Need gaskets, wear plates or baffles cut from C276 plate? Our in-house waterjet cuts to ±0.005″ with no heat-affected zone.

Aerospace
Aerospace work is a paperwork discipline as much as a materials one. Every bar, sheet and length of tube we ship carries full heat traceability back to the mill — MTRs are included automatically, not on request — and our ISO 9001:2015 system controls material identity from receiving to your dock.
For airframe tooling, test rigs, ground support equipment and engine-adjacent hardware, we supply 321 and 347 stabilized stainless for elevated-temperature service, Inconel 625 and 600 where exhaust heat lives, Monel 400 for fitting and fastener stock, and 6061 aluminum sheet, plate and bar for fixtures and structure. Waterjet cutting produces near-net blanks with no heat-affected zone — critical when downstream certification can't tolerate an altered microstructure.

Nuclear
Ontario's CANDU refurbishments run on documentation. Suppliers into Bruce, Darlington and Pickering programs need material with an unbroken paper trail — and that's how Huron Alloys operates by default. Every order ships with heat-numbered mill test reports, our ISO 9001:2015 quality system governs identification and segregation in the warehouse, and certified copies are re-issuable years later when an auditor asks.
For balance-of-plant and support systems we supply 304/304L and 316/316L pipe, fittings, flanges and tube; 347 stabilized stainless; and Inconel 600, Incoloy 825 and Monel 400 for specialty circuits. If your PO invokes CSA N299 or program-specific quality clauses, send them with the RFQ — our quality team reviews them before we commit material.

05 / 08High-Temperature Service
Power Generation
High-pressure steam is a chrome moly business. We stock A335 alloy pipe in P11, P22 and P91 with matching flanges and butt-weld fittings — the grades that hold their strength in main steam, reheat and header service where carbon steel gives up. P11 covers economizer and lower-temperature circuits, P22 carries superheater and header duty, and P91's creep strength earns its place in combined-cycle and supercritical plants.
On the stainless side, 321H and 347H handle cyclic high-temperature service, 310S takes radiant heat, and duplex grades serve cooling-water systems. Plate for ductwork and casing repair, bar for valve internals — cut to size in-house when the outage schedule is tight.

Marine
Saltwater finds every shortcut. Standard 304 pits within a season around chlorides, so marine work starts at 316L and climbs: Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507 bring the pitting resistance for splash-zone structure, shafting and seawater piping, while Monel 400 remains the classic choice for pump shafts, seawater valves and fastener stock that lives below the waterline.
For topside weight savings we supply marine-grade aluminum sheet, plate, tube and bar. Great Lakes fleet operators, shipyards and dock builders pull from the same Sarnia stock — pipe, fittings, flanges and plate, cut to drawing when you need bulkhead penetrations or doubler plates ready to weld.

07 / 08Wash-Down Ready
Food & Beverage
Product contact means stainless, and the grade question is usually about what you're washing with. 304/304L covers most dairy, brewing and dry-goods surfaces; 316/316L earns its premium around brines, tomato and citrus acids, and the chlorinated caustic of nightly wash-down. We supply both in pipe, tube, sheet and plate, with fittings and flanges to match — plus Duplex 2205 when hot brine or hypochlorite CIP starts pitting 316.
Processors use our waterjet to cut guards, chutes, hopper blanks and wear strips with clean, burr-free edges — no heat tint to re-passivate, no cutting-oil contamination. MTRs with every order keep your food-safety audits simple.

08 / 08Cut-to-Size Structural
Construction
Architectural and structural metal moves fastest when it arrives ready to install. We supply stainless pipe, tube, plate, sheet and bar for handrails, canopies, façade supports, embeds and base plates — 304 for interior and general exterior work, 316 for streetscapes, pools and de-icing-salt exposure — alongside 6061 aluminum for weight-critical framing and cladding.
The difference-maker is cutting. Our HD plasma table handles plate to 50″ × 120″ at ±0.015″, and waterjet holds ±0.005″ for gusset plates, brackets and decorative panels straight from your DWG or PDF. Material lands on site cut, labelled and traceable — with the MTRs your engineer of record wants on file.
