Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

N299.4 is the Category 4 quality program for supplying items to Canadian nuclear plants — written for distributors handling commercial-grade and balance-of-plant material. It covers how we label, store, inspect and record material in the warehouse. It's registered through CWB and audited regularly, and the certificate is downloadable above.
Yes, and we'd rather see them with the RFQ than after the PO lands. Our quality team reads them before we commit material and flags anything we can't meet at quote stage. That one step heads off most of the receiving-dock problems nuclear orders run into.
We keep records on file under our quality program, so we can re-issue certified copies long after a job closes. When an auditor asks about a heat installed years ago, it should be a phone call. Tell us how long you need records kept on the PO and we'll match it.
We're set up to supply either. In practice it's usually the contractors and fabrication shops that need a registered supplier standing behind their bid — if that's you, that's exactly what our N299.4 registration is for.
Yes. Waterjet and plasma cutting happen here, from our own stock plate, so finished parts keep the heat number of the plate they came from. Nothing goes to an outside shop whose record-keeping you'd then have to approve separately.
Everything ships from our own warehouse in Sarnia, Ontario — within a day's drive of most of the province. Same-day shipment on in-stock items, and we deliver Canada-wide.
