Grades and material selection
Grade choice follows the environment. 304/304L covers general-purpose and structural piping; 316/316L is the standard for chloride exposure, marine and corrosive process service; Duplex 2205 adds strength and pitting resistance for the most aggressive conditions; and 310 and 347 handle high-temperature and stabilized applications.
