Since 1983, Huron Alloys has grown from a regional stainless steel supplier into one of Canada’s most trusted sources for specialty metals — stainless steel, aluminum, chrome moly and nickel alloys — backed by in-house cutting, full traceability, and a team of alloy industry experts.
01Who We Are
Huron Alloys is a Canadian-owned distributor of stainless steel, aluminum, chrome moly and nickel & exotic alloys. From our facility in Sarnia, Ontario — in the heart of Chemical Valley — we supply pipe, fittings, flanges, plate, sheet, bar and tube to industry across the country.
We’ve built a strong reputation as a top-rated stainless steel supplier, but that’s only part of the story. Think of us for all of your metal supply needs. With over 11,000 SKUs in stock, we carry everything from stainless steel pipe to Alloy 400 plate — and we back it with high-definition plasma cutting, waterjet cutting and a full range of value-added services. That makes us a genuine one-stop shop when you’re searching for reliable metal supply, without chasing multiple vendors or juggling lead times.
02Our Story
We started in 1983 with a straightforward goal: give Canadian industry a supplier it could count on for quality specialty metals and honest, straight answers. More than four decades later, that goal hasn’t changed — we’ve simply gotten better at delivering on it.
We’ve grown year over year by earning repeat business the hard way — understanding each customer’s specialized needs, quoting quickly, and delivering exactly what was ordered. Setting up in Sarnia put us in the middle of one of Canada’s densest industrial corridors, within easy reach of the refineries, petrochemical plants, fabricators and OEMs that demand certified material and can’t afford downtime.
03What We Supply
Four alloy families, one supplier. We stock a deep, ready-to-ship inventory so you can source the material and the processing you need in a single call:
- Stainless Steel — pipe, fittings, flanges, plate, sheet, bar and tube across the common grades.
- Aluminum — plate, sheet, bar and structural forms for everything from fabrication to marine work.
- Nickel & Exotic Alloys — including Alloy 400 (Monel), K-500 and other grades for demanding, corrosive service.
- Chrome Moly — for high-temperature, high-pressure applications where ordinary steel won’t hold up.
- In-house cutting — HD plasma and waterjet, cut to your spec on-site, never outsourced.
- Value-added services — the extra processing that turns raw stock into parts that are ready to use.
Whether you need stainless steel fittings or aluminum pipe, waterjet cutting or a length of stainless bar, you get the same responsive service on every request.
04Quality & Certifications
Product quality is the top priority at Huron Alloys. We maintain compliance with the standards set by ISO 9001:2015, and we’re certified to CSA N299.4-16 for the supply of items to Canada’s nuclear industry.
Every shipment leaves with its Mill Test Reports (MTRs) automatically included, so you always have complete traceability on the material you receive. We also keep Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Canadian Registration Numbers (C.R.N.) and our manufacturers’ I.S.O. certificates on file and available on request.
